Ricky Martin the best artist on Social networks

The night of the past July 21 was full of surprises for Ricky Martin. During the ceremony of Premios Juventud 2011 the Puerto Rican artist won the award “Síganme los Buenos” standing out as the artist who best communicates with his fans through social networks.

Besides Ricky Martin has the honor to grant the award “Super Nova” to the Spanish actor Antonio Banderas as a recognition to his artistic career. Martin also received from Sony Music Latin the Platinum and Gold record for his sales on United States of his latest album Música Alma Sexo.

Ricky Martin performed on the awards ceremony with the Reggaeton duet Wisin y Yandel in order to perform for the first time live on tv his new hit “Frío”, The performance was acclaimed by the public, immediately after the show, the video from this third single of his album were released exclusive through Univision.com.

The video directed by Carlos Perez and produced by Elastic People, filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, were released on July 22 through Rick Martin´s VEVO channel. With support from the fans, online influencers and fanclubs all around the world we achieved an effective spread of the video.

In just one week from the release, the “Frío” video exceeded the 4.400.000 views, positioning on the number 9 videos of Youtube rank “most viewed videos of the week”, besides on Argentina and Spain achieved the first and second spot respectively.
